Axe(s) of research

Research at ERIC aims at extracting value from huge, complex databases, especially in the fields of humanities. It falls into the following domains:
- data warehousing: intelligent integration of complex data, multidimensional modeling of complex objects, personalized on-line analysis (OLAP), data warehousing process security;
- data mining and decision: machine learning, graph study and graph mining, complex data analysis, multicriteria aggregation, opinion lining, data mining software.

On July 1st, 2012, the ERIC lab is constituted of 52 members: 22 professors and associate professors, 1 administrative staff member, 23 Ph.D. students, 3 postdoctoral fellows and 3 associate members.

ERIC is constituted of two research teams:
- Decision-support Information Systems (DIS) - 8 associate and full professors;
- Data Mining and Decision (DMD) - 14 associate and full professors.
