Within the scope of a complete reorganisation, the Clio building is about to become the second functional entrance of the Lyon 2 quadrilateral on the Quai Claude Bernard. Sooner or later, each building will have its own address.

Records room opening onto 4 bis

imageThe main entrance at 4 bis rue de l'Université is a borderline between the academic world and a work area comprising all the functional qualities required. The former records room is designed with a transparent metallic structure looking out onto the inner courtyard. This part, which is fitted with glass, shows the new means of vertical circulation: stairs and lifts. The new entrance is divided into three parts: a central hall, and reception desks on either side.

The Laprade amphitheatre

imageThe complete renovation of the premises has increased the University's ability to receive more law and political sciences students. The balcony on the first floor has been extended so as to increase capacity to 300 people.

East wing

The Brachet Company has carried out the renovation of the east wing of the Clio building and the restoration of the lecture, work and training rooms. The Registration Department was set up within the building in April 2003, followed by the Law and Political Sciences Faculty in September.
